Starting March 10, the Whitney and New York Public Library are partnering up on Sunday Storytimes at the Whitney, hosted by NYPL librarians. These will take place on the second Sunday each month and are free for families to attend!

This initiative is part of the Museum's outreach efforts to connect more people to the museum to see, learn about, and celebrate the contemporary American art within its walls.

Look forward to free admission to all, all-ages artmaking projects, performances, tours, Spanish-language programs and more

And for those of you who go this Sunday (March 10) you're in for a treat! Patience, the Library's beloved lion mascot will make an appearance! On top of that, in a nod to the Oscars, families will walk the yellow carpet (the cheery color mascot of the Second Sundays) and take family photos.

More information is found here.

See you Sunday! Roar!

PS the Whitney Biennial is coming up -- making for a perfect time to go!
