We're marking our calendar for September 30, for the West Side Fest! This family-fun event includes free admission to museums, special programs, artmaking, crafts for kids and even an evening waterfront dance party! The West Side Cultural Network -- a group of more than 19 museums, parks, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions in our area came up with this awesome day of fun, and trust us, there's loads to get excited for! Here are some highlights!
  • Whitney Museum of American Art: Free admission, neighborhood tours and artmaking for kids 11:00am-3:00pm
  • Poster House: Free admission and tours
  • Hudson River Park Pier 63: Live music
